Gone Like The Wind

Alright, some of my friends may have seen this, but to those of you new to my life
Here it is, it may not be the best poem someone has ever written, but I love it
I wrote it for my Grandfather who passed away when I was little.
I don't remember much about him, but I know he loved me very much.
So, please, be truthful to me what you think about it.
If everyone likes it, I may post more of my writing sometime soon.

Gone like the wind
You were gone like the wind
Before I noticed you were gone
Never to be back again
I never saw your face
I never heard your voice
I always dreamt of being by your side
Gone like the wind, there was nothing
You were the only one that I loved then
Now, I don't think I feel the same
You were gone like the wind
You came and went, you left with no sign
Without even saying goodbye
I waited so long for you
I tried to keep my cool
Now thinking of you
I lost all control
Gone like the wind
I never saw your face again
I started to say
I'll never see you back one day
Gone like the wind,
You came and went
Once again,
Let me say this once for you
I'll love you till death
Gone like the wind
You came and went
Days go by
With no sign of you left
Just gone like the wind
Is all I can say...
